@Peace New Record Breaks Boundaries in Space & Time

Check out this mean NZ record! it reminds of that buzzy passage out of Meno no not Menopause
haha where Plato is talking about how everyone has a pair of wings attached to their souls
and their attached to the gods that are rolling round in the Sky. And you kind of piggy back on them and you lean over and see the Forms that are the pure essences of Beauty, Justice and the Good!!!

The record also has dope influences of space and time caving in on itself. I reckon Satre's ghost may have smashed out some synth riffs while high on mesculine playing a synthesizer on a couple tracks!

Super dope record. Check out the homies youtube channel here:

I swear to God T&H are like the equivalent of Trailer Park Boys accept the Canadian rapper
is Tom Scott and Haz Beats is his friend who gets locked up in the movie! Outstanding work!!!

On a side note I was also super impressed with Lorde's Taite victory speech. A lot of people have been chatting about it online and I was super impressed. I thought the rumours of her being a genius were silly until I saw here talking. She seems like a seasoned academic, but she has read over 3000 books so thats kind of more reading than you do for a degree up to the highest level lol. Undeniably a great NZer!!! and she loved this record too :)

New Music: PNC, P-Diggs (Shapeshifter) & Pat of State of Mind - Drop New Single "Ride" - Solid

PNC, P-Diggs (Shapeshifter) & Pat of State of Mind have released a new track called "Ride".              I've gotta say straight out of the box the vocal production on this song is stunning. It's great to hear PNC's flow on full fire like Charizard roasting a Snorlax. I wonder who tracked the vocals.
A minute ago PNC retweeted something saying The Neos were lost with a Goat in Britomart looking for the VNZMAS haha. We were actually in Welly but I thought it was funny.

P-Digs vocals shine on this track and its awesome that producers Matt Miller and Pat teamed up to add in the Trance-Dance drop. It's also super nice to hear PNC's flow being before the beat. Sometimes NZ rappers tend to hang back on their timing when flowing over a beat (must be something to do with how chill we are in Kiwiland).

This is getting a thumbs up from us and you should get your hands on a Dirty Records download off iTunes if your feeling it. Wish Kiwi artist would start pressing Vinyls of their dope music and selling it independent. That would be crank!!!

New Song by Kid Cudi - "Satellite Flight" (Out 2 Days)

Here's the latest song from Kid Cudi. It's been out only two days and has racked up over 250,000 plays (nice). The fans are feeling the track as well. My favourite part is the sampled intro (brilliant). Im my mind this song seems very smoked out. But thats not a bad thing and I am a really solid supporter of Kid Cudi. Personally my favourite song he's ever done is "Sound Track To My Life" (See below).

"Satellite Flight" is a great song that definitely grows on you and gets better the more listens you give it. The song would bloom with a wacky as hell video with martians and satellites.

My description of the song and events that lead up to its production would be: Kid Cudi waking up from a deep slumber in his bed on Mars.  Then after having an asteroid shower, deciding to record a new song through a cherished vaporiser, before escaping into space with his moon boots. I guess now he's just a Satellite in space in mid-flight trying to survive. Stay tuned for a new record dropping out of the sky from Cudderland.

Love Cleveland, even though I nearly died their!!! :)

Spycc's "Self Progression" Mixtape: Holding Down Onehunga in WildStyle

Discovering the prodigious talent of Spycc was a real shock to my system. As an individual that went to Onehunga High I recognized his face and had no idea he was a much buzzed about rapper from that area. I have to admit that when I hear of rappers from NZ i've been somewhat blunted. Not withstanding the likes of Ddot Dallas the gangsta rap facade is something I have no time for. If a false reality is something your looking for smoke up tree because acting is sad if it's not at the very least on Shortland St.

To even contemplate being a gangsta rapper in Auckland, Nz is like a person trying to understand West coast gangsta rap without actually stepping foot in the U.S.A. One should really think about going to California or N.Y.C before rapping about all the hoopla that is associated with the gangsta genre that I do like, just not done badly. Inglewood and Brooklyn can really open ones eyes to where gangsta rap came from, and in all honest it came from desperation out of having nothing while being surrounded bt the wealth of Wall St or Hollywood. The streets are all the normal people have so why not song about and glorify them to the masses because thats where it's at.  In New York City even the smallest kid has a hunger that could eat most kiwi's alive it's one hell of a place to live thats for sure.

Spycc in stark contrast to silly posers or NZ hardened criminals turned amateur rappers is a man that drops rhymes in every direction that resonate with the people, "the everyday New Zealander" as we like to say lol. I'd go so far as to say that he is 'the Proust' of Onehunga in direct parallel to Jay-z and his admiration of Brooklyn that offered the bulk of his inspiration for his raps. When I listen to Spycc zapping all the inspiration from the outskirts of the AK into his songs theres a genuine love for Onehunga that is hard not to like.

His free mixtape "Self Progression" offers amazing production value which I first heard on "The Young, Broke and Talented" underground physical mixtape made by Homebrew's associates. I've listened to the whole mixtape quite a few times blaring through my computer speakers and dig "Self Progressions" vibe. His raps don't stumble over themselves like most and his flow is immaculately complimented by his producer carving out some sick beats. If you want to cop something that is fire and the future of Nz rap check out his mixtape below and his awesome video that looks like it should have been sponsored by Woodstock if it wasn't.
