Fashion Designer John Varvatos starts a new Major Record Label in the U.S.A

The Well-known fashion designer, John Varvatos has started a new record company John Varvatos Records. It will formally launch sometime this year and will have Varvatos serving as the curator as well as president of the label which will see him signing new acts as well as releasing high profile reissues and compilations. The collaboration will bring together two distinct brands with a goal of releasing timeless records under the imprint's focus of "genuine music in the spirit of legends."

The John Varvatos brand has previously been involved with the launch of high-profile campaigns featuring artists such as Willie Nelson, Jimmy Page, Robert Plant, Chris Cornell, Joe Perry, Velvet Revolver, Green Day, Gary Clark Jr., Cheap Trick, Alice Cooper, ZZ Top and Dave Matthews. Legendary rock band KISS are currently the face of the company's spring 2014 campaign. In 2008, Varvatos took over the iconic CBGB's location for one of his New York storefronts which has since hosted free shows from artists like Guns N' Roses, Jane's Addiction, Slash, Tom Morello, The Roots and many others.Varvatos comments; “Music has always been my big passion and an energy force in my life. As a result, my brand is deeply rooted in it as well. The connection between fashion and music is undeniable and symbiotic. Republic Records is home to Lorde  and Mr Varvatos label could be the one to release her next record , but only if it's not to rock centric otherwise he needs The Neos haha :)

Premier: Guy Sebastian - Like A Broken Drum (Music Video)

This is a really interesting video from Mr Guy Sebastian. "Like a Broken Drum" is his latest single at it's kind of cheesy haha. Like the majority of the world population I to am surprised by Guy Sebastian. Like many I thought he was a flash in the pan. But even I didn't mind his song about a hot woman walking into the club (Like She Just Walked into the Club!!!).

Although not bad this song seems to be a bit confused is there even a drum in the video (gotta admit I couldn't watch most of it). Guy Sebastian isn't really my cup of tea but I'm sure his core-fanbase are happy about the new single (someone has to be right).

The reason I really like this song is because I no it's not really gonna get hammered on the radio which is a good thing. I'm kind of over hearing Mr Sebastian's voice screaming about pointless dribble that someone else has written. It's kind of like fast-food his music and I'm in need of a proper meal like everyone else in Australasia. We have to admit it Guy Sebastian is full of surprises and I he imagine will continue to be a culture anomaly, never to be repeated.

If you like cheesy fast-food music this song is for you!!! I've listen to the song so many times it kind of made me feel ill.
